Phonak CROS

Phonak CROS - Phonak CROS is the smallest wireless CROS / BiCros system available. It offers a solution to people with one sided and imbalanced hearing loss. It is available in behind the ear style or as a discreet custom in the ear product.

The Phonak CROS system has been designed for people with no hearing in one ear and good hearing in the other (as a CROS system) or with no hearing in one ear and some hearing loss in the other (as a BiCROS system).

When your better ear hears normally and you have little or no hearing in your worst ear (CROS) – the transmitter sits on / in your poorer ear, picks up sound and wirelessly transmits it to the better ear. Hearing in your better ear is natural and unaffected.

When you have some degree of hearing loss in your better ear and little or no hearing in your worst (BiCROS) – the transmitter sits on / in your poorer ear, picks up sound and transmits it to the better ear. Because you also need some help with your hearing in the better ear, a hearing aid also picks up sound on that side too.

Thanks to Spice technology, BiCROS wearers will also have access to outstanding sound quality and intelligibility with a host of impressive features including UltraZoom with SNR-Boost, SoundRecover and FlexControl.

The Phonak Cros system is available in a RIC (very discreet, almost invisible on the ear) model, and a very neat ITC (in the canal, nothing on the ear) model.

Regardless of whether you have a hearing loss in your better hearing ear or not, Phonak CROS offers a solution.
