Phonak Audeo S SMART / MINI

Phonak Audeo S SMART / MINI - Phonak's own versions of the very popular Open Ear Technology based on the brand new Spice chipset. (Also known as RIC, CRT, RITE hearing aids). These hearing aids are so very neat and well designed, they are to all intents and purposes invisible on the ear.

They have a fitting range that makes them suitable for almost all types and levels of hearing loss and come with three levels of technology, at mid range we have the Audeo S Smart or Mini III, at advanced level we have the Audeo S Smart or Mini V, and at premium level the Audeo S Smart or Mini IX.

Our view at Digital Hearing Care is we can't really see the point of the Mini as opposed to the Smart, on the ear you can see very little difference between the two in cosmetics, and with the Smart you have some onboard control with a handy push button and extra features to help you hear better with wireless communication you just don't get with the Mini.

The Smart takes the slightly larger 312 battery too so you won't be changing your hearing aid batteries quite so often. Our advice is be smart and choose the Smart!

NB it is worth noting some companies, particularly the national suppliers, are still retailing the older versions of these products, namely Audeo YES, Smart and Mini, if you don't see the 'S' in the product name ask for the newest technology based on the Spice chip rather than the older Core technology. - Phonak Hearing Aid Prices
