Ear Protection

Although the primary business of Digital Hearing Care is the supply of high quality hearing aids at great prices, we are often asked to help protect people's hearing before the damage has been caused, in other words prevention before the cure!.

We can supply ear protection against excessive noise levels for many varied applications, including hearing protection for those that work in noisy factories, ear plugs and filters for those involved in shooting (including the renowned Puretone Cens range), musicians earplugs and musicians in ear monitors, covert earpieces for those involved in the police and armed forces, and much more. We can also supply custom ear plugs for swimmers and sleep plugs for those that need a good night's sleep.

You can of course buy cheap generic ear plugs by the box for little cost, but many people find them at best satisfactory, at worst uncomfortable and ineffective.

From around £50 upward, you can have custom made hearing protection that fits perfectly in the ear, is comfortable for extended wear and be sure you are protecting your ears against the damaging effects of excessive noise.

• PROTECThear - A supersoft earplug attenuating sound at 85dB, ideal for industry, motorcyclists, sleep plugs etc. Available as full shell or canal and in Yellow, Blue, Flesh or Clear. Cost - £64.95 plus impressions.
• Musicians Earplugs - offering a flat attenuation of 9dB, 15dB or 25dB - Available in Clear, Beige or Red. Cost - £139.00 plus impressions.
• Musicians In Ear Monitors - Cost - £ P.O.A.
• For Shooters - Puretone CENS and Sonic Valve - A range of protection for all types of shooting, clay, game or sporting, we can supply at all levels from a custom mould with a passive valve to the very advanced Puretone Cens Proflex Hunter. Prices range from £99.00 to £550.00.
• Swimmers Plugs - For swimmers, wind surfers, canoeists or people with grommets, the Catamaran is designed to float if you drop it in the water. Cost - £34.95 plus impressions.
• Covert and Custom Earpieces - For members of the military and police. Cost - £ P.O.A.
• We also supply solid silicone ear plugs at £34.95 plus impressions and custom ear moulds for MP3 players etc. at £79.95 plus impressions.

Once you have decided which product is right for you we need a good set of impressions so we have the exact shape of your ears, all the products we supply are custom made for comfort and with ear protection in mind.

You can come to us at our offices in Keighley, West Yorkshire for this service. Our fee depends on the number of people requiring impressions. For one set of impressions the cost is £25, for 2-5 sets of impressions the cost is £20 each, and 5+ the cost is £15 per set of impressions.

Alternatively you might ask a hearing aid audiologist near you to make some ear impressions for you and then send the impressions on to us, their costs will vary. If you are struggling to find someone please email us and we will try to help.

Once we have the ear impressions to hand we can order your chosen product and you will need to pay for the cost of the chosen product itself. Payment is ideally either by Paypal or alternatively debit / credit card. We can also accept cheques if supplied with the impressions.

You can order and pay directly from our dedicated hearing accessories site if you wish, we will still need your ear impressions and preferences of colour etc., on the site select the relevant tab for ear protection, shooting or musicians.
