Regional Hearing are a fairly new entry into the hearing aid market, starting up a few years ago and growing quite rapidly. Their head office is in Cornwall and outside the south west coverage is quite patchy.
Their pricing structure is on the high side, we hear from time to time enquirers on our website have been quoted figures in the region of £6000 or so for a pair of top of the range hearing aids, although if challenged or asked to price match their salesmen seem quite happy to drop a few thousand pounds off the price without too much fuss! Because the manufacturer Widex are major financial backers of Regional Hearing, in all likelihood you will be advised to purchase Widex hearing aids if you ask for advice from one of their salesmen.
Our advice would be that if you ask a hearing aid audiologist from Regional Hearing Services for advice on improving your hearing, to compare prices before you commit with what is available locally from an independent hearing aid audiologist with a transparent pricing approach.
