The Hearing Company (Scrivens) | Digital Hearing Care

April 18th, 2011 by Paul Minikin

The Hearing Company is based in the Midlands and is part of the Scrivens Group which includes an optical chain. The Hearing Company does very little advertising and relies mainly on generating enquiries for it’s hearing aid dispensers through its optical chain and also through agreements with other optical chains around the country.

The Hearing Company states on its website to be completely independent but our understanding is they only supply from three manufacturers, Starkey, Siemens and Unitron. Ideally for a full range of technology to chose from you should consider seriously dealing with a good quality independent hearing aid audiologist that can offer the widest possible choice.

Their hearing aid prices tend to be on the high side, they charge around £5000 for top of the range hearing aids that we would charge around £3000 for.
